I found Power Yoga in 2010 during my college days at UNC-Charlotte. I loved the workout it gave me and it was something different from the Martial Arts training I was doing at the time. I would go to yoga classes when I could, but I didn’t keep a consistent practice.
In 2017 I found myself feeling lost as to where I wanted to take my life.
I began trying new things including Hot Yoga. That is when I took my first class at CFYC.
I was instantly hooked by the amazing and powerful workout of the heated classes.
The motivation I received throughout classes kept me coming back and wanting more.
In September of 2017 I took Diane Cevallos “I Shine Sundays Series” where I was given helpful tools to finding my path and reprogramming my mind.
I found I wanted to learn more about myself and wanted to immerse myself in the CFYC community. Which led me to embark on my journey to becoming a Yoga teacher through CFYC’s 200-hour teacher training program.
I love sharing the amazing benefits of yoga with others. I hope to motivate and inspire every student that comes to my class.
Outside of Yoga, I enjoy hiking, traveling, trying new things and long road trips with the windows down and the music loud.
