My personal journey with yoga began 20 years ago in my living room, as a “fitness program” after the birth of my first child.  I was intrigued by the mind-body-spirit connection, and quickly discovered the positive impact that practicing yoga made on my outlook, my health, and the flow of my energy.  I found the holistic and restorative benefits of a consistent yoga practice to be healing and empowering, and made the decision to become a yoga teacher in order to share these benefits with others.   My approach to teaching is grounded in facilitation of successful experiences that emphasize safety and acceptance for each student individually, and for each class collectively.  Each time I practice or teach yoga, I am humbled by how much more there is to learn about intention, compassion, and perseverance.  I honor the teacher in each of you, and look forward to seeing you on the mat, as we share this journey together.
