I started horseback riding when I was 7 years old and fell in love with the feeling of being outside and the connection between the horse and rider. Horses are such gentle creatures with amazing power and trust. When I was 9 years old I was on a trail ride and fell off my horse which left me with life long battle of back issues. The doctor prescribed physical therapy and only two forms of activity...walking & yoga. Refusing to believe what the doctor said and after several mini-flare ups trying to do what I used to do, I bought my first yoga dvd. For the first few weeks I noticed that a lot of the moves were similar to the exercises the physical therapist had given me and thought I might be onto something! I started noticing changes in not only my physical being but my mental being as well and realized I wanted to take this a step further.

I stepped into Charlotte Family Yoga Center in 2011 and never looked back.

In 2012 I signed up for Assisting and Alignment training with Diane Cevallos. I wanted to share the powerful effects of yoga through hands on assist.

In 2015 I signed up for Yoga Teacher training to further my knowledge of yoga and to share my own personal transformation with others. Yoga has changed my life in so many ways. I hope to share the many benefits of yoga with others!
