My yoga journey began in 2004 in a gym, my sister talking me into going with her so she didn’t have to go alone, promising me it was good for me. I like a lot of other people thought yoga was relaxation, chanting and meditation. I soon discovered it was one of the most challenging practices I had ever experienced.
As a distance runner, Power yoga seemed like the perfect companion to my current lifestyle. In my college years, I attended my first class in a yoga studio and my love for yoga grew even deeper. After 11 years of practicing yoga and 3 years of itching to teach yoga, I finally made the plunge into Yoga Teacher Training at a studio that matched my favorite style: Power Vinyasa Yoga.
CFYC Power Yoga goes beyond the poses, empowering you to be your very best self. This is what keeps me practicing and evolving in my own yoga practice and what I strive to guide my students to find in their own practice.
