I began my yoga journey 5 years ago after the birth of my second child in 2013. I was experiencing lower back pain. After seeking professional advice, my doctor encouraged me to practice yoga.
Initially, yoga for me was simply physical. After consistently practicing, I experienced an emotional and spiritual connection to the practice finding a new passion. Something within was calling me to share my love of yoga with others. With a little bit of encouragement from my family and friends, I took a leap of faith making a decision to pursue my yoga teaching certification.
I’m excited to share the amazing benefits of yoga with others. I hope to help my students of all ages and stages of life to find a sense of inner peace, joy and comfort.

Outside of yoga, I work in Human Resources, leading a team of Learning and Development professionals. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in Graphic Design and Illustration at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I enjoy participating and leading activities to promote community involvement supporting American Heart Associations, Habitat for Humanity, Freeman York Georgia Tech Scholarship fund, and American Diabetes Association.

My favorite past time is being with my husband, Adam, daughter, Olivia, son, Owen and puppy, Kernel (newest addition).
