I have been an athlete most of my life. Competing in teams sports growing up and then getting into distance running and triathlons as an adult. After experiencing years of lower back and hamstring pain I finally tried Yoga. Wow, it was a life changing experience. I immediately began to make it a part of my workout routine. Soon after my aches and pains began to go away. Physically and mentally I became stronger. My triathlon results proved it.
My love of Yoga and belief in its results led me to enter 200 hour teacher training in 2012. Since becoming a teacher I have made it my mission to make yoga more approachable to anyone and everyone. Yoga can be intimidating to someone who has never tried it.
My teaching philosophy reflects my beliefs that Yoga can be fun as well as transformative.
